Hi everyone. My name is Cortlynn and I am 12 years old. My sister is Cara and she is 9. We have two aunts that are really into paper crafts and we like it too. We have started doing more and more so we got a blog of our own. All of the images we get are from our aunts since we are too young to get them. Hope that is ok with you. Thanks for coming to visit us and we really, really like getting comments so please leave some for us. Hope you have a great day!

A MOTHER'S DAY GIFT

I made a mixed media canvas for my mother this year for Mother's Day.  My Aunt Becky brought us all kinds of stuff to use and showed us how to make this.

She even brought her baby Sydney to craft with us.  I played my recorder for her.  She says so many words.  We had a lot of fun.

This is a picture of our craft area that she set up.

Here I am getting started.  She was explaining what we were going to do.

I finally got to start on my project.

This is all of us together.  Me with my sister and our friend Sarah and Sarah's mom.

Aunt Becky always has prizes for us to win when we work with her.  She asks us questions and if we can answer correctly she gives a prize.  Isn't she the best!!!

Here I am with my finished canvas.

Thanks so much for coming by and checking out my Mother's Day gift for mom.

CRAFTING FOR MY MOM

This is the canvas I made for my mom for Mother's Day.  My Aunt Becky helps me and my sister make something for my mom every year.  This year we did some mixed media canvases.

Aunt Becky brought her baby Sydney with her.  Isn't she gorgeous!  She sang for us and talked to us and she even crafts in her room.  See all the work she did with her cardstock.

Here is the work station that was set up in our basement.

This is me with our friend Sarah.

Here we are all together.  That's Sarah's mom.  She has been friends with my Aunt Becky since they were my age!  That's a long time.

Here is my finished canvas.

When we were all done cleaning up, my aunt had another fun thing for us.  While we craft she asks us questions.  We get to earn tickets and then cash them in for prizes.  Isn't she the best aunt ever!!

We had a lot of fun!  Can't wait to see what she has planned for next year.
